Linear Connector

The Linear MCP connector lets ChatPRD access your Linear issues, projects, and sprints directly in chat. Use it to check team workload, create tickets from product discussions, or get context on what engineering is building.

Setup

1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
2. Scroll to "MCPs and Connectors" and click Linear.
3. Authorize ChatPRD to access your Linear workspace via OAuth.
4. Once connected, enable Linear in the Tool Selector (wrench icon) for any chat.

What You Can Do

• Browse issues, projects, and sprints across your Linear workspace.
• Check the status of specific features or bugs.
• Create new Linear issues from product discussions, PRD action items, or meeting follow-ups.
• Review what the team is working on in the current sprint or cycle.

Example Prompts

• "What's in the current sprint for the platform team?"
• "Create a Linear issue for the checkout flow redesign."
• "What's the status of the payments migration?"
• "Show me all high-priority bugs assigned to the mobile team."

Requirements

• A Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan.
• A Linear workspace with the projects and issues you want to query.
• Linear must be connected and toggled on in the Tool Selector for the current chat.
