Gamma Integration

Overview

Gamma is an AI-powered presentation tool that creates polished slides from text. The "Open in Gamma" connector generates a full presentation directly from your PRD content using the Gamma API.

How it works

1. Open any document in ChatPRD.
2. Click the "Open in" dropdown button in the document toolbar.
3. Select "Gamma" from the menu.
4. ChatPRD compresses your document and sends it (along with your full document content and author profile) to the Gamma API.
5. Gamma generates a presentation and returns a link. Click "Open" to view your presentation.

What gets sent

• A compressed prompt with the core message of your document.
• The full document content for additional context.
• Your author profile (name, role, company) for professional branding on slides.

Setup

The Gamma connector requires an API key. Go to Settings > Integrations > Gamma to connect your account:

1. Get your API key from the Gamma developer settings.
2. Enter your API token in the ChatPRD Gamma integration settings.
3. "Gamma" will then appear in the "Open in" dropdown on your documents.

Requirements

• A ChatPRD Pro plan.
• A Gamma account with API access.
• Gamma API key configured in Settings > Integrations > Gamma.

Tips

• Structure your PRD with clear sections and headings — Gamma will map these to slides.
• Fill out your ChatPRD profile (name, role, company) for professional author attribution on slides.
• Unlike other connectors, Gamma generates the presentation server-side — you will see a progress indicator while it creates your slides.
