- Scroll to "MCPs and Connectors" and click GitHub.
- Authorize ChatPRD to access your GitHub account via OAuth.
- Once connected, enable GitHub in the Tool Selector (wrench icon) for any chat.
What You Can Do
- Search for repositories, issues, and pull requests across your GitHub account.
- Ask about the status of specific issues or PRs by name or number.
- Create new GitHub issues from product discussions or PRD action items.
- Review what the team has shipped recently by checking merged PRs.
- Look up code or technical context to inform product decisions.
Example Prompts
- "What open issues are there in the payments repo?"
- "Create a GitHub issue for the onboarding redesign in frontend-app."
- "What PRs were merged this week in our main repo?"
- "Show me the details of issue #423."
