Step by step

The workflow

Follow the sequence once, then adapt the prompts, checks, and handoffs to your own setup.

3 steps

Step01

Set Up Your Tracking Spreadsheet

Create a simple spreadsheet (e.g., in Google Sheets) with columns for the date, workout details, location, and any other information you want to track.

Step02

Connect Claude to Your Spreadsheet

Give Claude access to your spreadsheet. This may involve using a pre-built tool or setting up a simple custom connector that allows Claude to write new rows to the sheet.

This setup is a one-time process. Once connected, you don't need to interact with the connection again for daily use.

Step03

Log Workouts via Voice Note

After a workout, open the Claude mobile app. Use the voice note feature to record a short, natural language sentence describing your workout and instruct Claude to add it to your tracker.

Example prompt
I worked out today, did Bulgarian split squats at the gym in Nantucket. Add to tracker.

Be natural. You don't need a rigid format. Just include the key details and tell Claude what to do with them.
