Step02
Refine the Idea into a Prompt
Ask ChatGPT to convert the raw idea into a prototype brief. Keep the product manager's specific nouns and verbs, and require the model to separate known requirements from assumptions and open questions.

Turn these notes into a prototype brief for [user]. Include the user job, business reason, objects, screens, actions, rules, representative content, and the single question this prototype should answer. Separate confirmed requirements, assumptions, and open questions. Notes: [paste notes or transcript excerpt].
Step03
Generate the Interactive Prototype
Send the reviewed brief to Lovable, v0, or another interactive prototyping tool. Build one complete journey first, using reusable components and realistic synthetic content rather than filling the page with generic dashboard elements.

Build a clickable prototype for [user journey] from this brief: [brief]. Implement the main path plus empty, error, permission, and boundary states that affect the decision. Use realistic synthetic data. Label anything mocked, and do not add features outside the brief.
Step04
Gather Feedback and Iterate
Put the prototype in front of the original stakeholders and ask them to complete the task. Record where they hesitate, what rules they add, what they reject, and what decision changed. Update the prototype and preserve the resulting decision log.
What good looks like
- A reviewer can complete the intended journey without a live explanation.
- The prototype exposes important rules, exceptions, and editable details rather than presenting only a polished screen.
- Synthetic data is recognizable as test content and no confidential conversation or customer data is exposed.
- Feedback is captured as decisions and open questions that can inform the product plan.

If it goes sideways
- The prototype looks polished but solves a different problem
- Return to the original conversation, restate the user, job, constraints, and decision to make, then regenerate only the affected flow.
- Important business rules remain hidden behind a happy path
- Add representative exceptions, permissions, limits, and invalid actions, then let stakeholders click through them.
- A stakeholder mistakes the prototype for committed or production ready software
- Label its status, scope, synthetic data, and unresolved questions wherever it is shared.
- A meeting transcript sends confidential or personal information to an unapproved tool
- Remove unnecessary details, use an approved environment, and replace real names and records with synthetic examples.
