This week we're keeping the momentum going with the How I AI podcast and have been focusing on improvements to make core knowledge retrieval and file usage better.

How I AI: Episode 2

Thank you so much to everyone for supporting the How I AI launch last week. It was very fun to see the positive response, and I think everyone could learn something from how Sahil builds software at Gumroad.

This week, we have a fun 25 minute interview with Farhad Manjoo, former columnist at the New York Times, showing how he speeds up research and writes better metaphors using ChatGPT.

🧠 Improved Knowledge & File Search

After upgrading to GPT-4.1, we noticed that file search and information retrieval was a little spottier than usual. So we made some enhancements to how files are stored and accessed across Projects & Chats. With these improvements, you should have better context-aware chats and document generation.

You'll also be able to see when ChatPRD accesses your files using File Search -- no more guessing if she is looking at your files or not.

🤑 Clearer Billing + Upgrade Paths

After TWO (!!!) requests in our Slack channel to make it easier to "TAKE MY MONEY" we've made it much easier to manage your billing and upgrade from a trial to a paid account.

We also got some reports that trials were not unlocking all the features, and shipped a bug fix to ensure that no matter what flavor trial you are on, you get all the goodies of ChatPRD.
