Welcome to this week's ChatPRD updates.
For those of you who are new, welcome! And to those who have been here for a while, thank you for the support 🙏
We've been working hard to bring some big new features your way, here's what we've been up to ⬇️
Google Drive Integration (Beta) 🚀
It's here! All users can now connect their Google Drive accounts directly to ChatRPD 🔥 Now, instead of downloading and re-uploading into ChatPRD, you can simply choose the documents you want to upload in a matter of seconds. For those with early access, just click the paperclip icon 📎 in the chat box and click Connect Google Drive to import a document.
When you're ready to export, just click the Export to Google Drive dropdown in Doc Mode.
Export Docs 📄
In addition to exporting to Google Docs, you can now also export Word (docx), Markdown (md), or Open Document Text (odt) to make it easier to work with the documents you create with ChatPRD.
Improved Mobile Experience 📱
We've completely revamped the mobile experience 😎 Creating product docs on the go is now smoother and more intuitive, so you can feel confident creating documents even when you're away from your desk (because who wants to sit at a desk all day?)
Coming Soon: Slack App & Voice to Chat 🤯
We've got some big things coming up very soon! We are making headway on our Slack App that will seamlessly connect your ChatPRD account to Slack, making your product workflow even smoother. We're also heads-down on Voice to Chat, which has been one of our most common feature requests.
If you have ideas on how we can take either of these features to the next level, please let us know! And stay tuned for the launches 🤘
🪐 Other Updates from the ChatPRD Universe
Big news: I am speaking at the Lenny and Friends Summit this week! I'll be giving a spooky talk 👻 about the death of product management 😱 and am coordinating a ChatPRD coffee meetup for folks in the area. LMK if you're interested!
I also shared my thoughts on over-employment. With how effective AI can make the everyday PM, I think we could all take on more interesting roles in a company.
What do you think?
