Things got busy and we skipped a week, so this release is full of new features and bug fixes. And YES - that updated chat experience is almost done!

📁 Smarter Document Export
We’ve overhauled our document export system—exports are now server-side, resulting in more reliable markdown and DOCX files.
We've also added a “Copy as .md” makes quick sharing with other LLMs like Cursor easier, and comments/collaboration notes are automatically cleaned from exported docs. We also dropped the export to .odf which no one was using!
Export error handling and monitoring are also much improved behind the scenes!
🎲 Table Controls in the Editor
Many of you noticed you could create tables in the editor but not actually...edit them! We added controls to the table editor so you can add and remove tables from your documents with ease.
🐛 Bug Fixed & Minor Tweaks
A LOT of these this week! Thanks for all of your feedback, bug reports, and role requests—it really guides what we prioritize week to week. If you have a feature idea or something isn’t working quite right, just reach out in the chat.
- Notion Export: Fixed critical export errors, added logging and smarter error messages, so exports to Notion are much more reliable.
- Dark Mode Polish: Improved dark mode color contrast for the Create Project modal, Clerk forms, survey forms, and integration cards, making things easier on the eyes.
- Export Reliability: Fixed edge cases that could break DOCX or markdown exports, plus upgraded error tracking throughout.
- Clean Up: Legacy editor code was retired, reducing technical debt and making the app a little leaner.
🪐 How I AI: Episode 13 + 14
We had two great episodes of How I AI these past weeks, starting with Prerna Kaul showing us how she used Claude Projects + vibe coding to streamline months of lifesaving work via FDA submission automations.
And episode 14 is one of my favorites with my bud Zach Davis at LaunchDarkly showing us how a large engineering organization can use AI in a huge codebase.
